Situated about 16 miles west of Mombo, outside the Moremi Game reserve on the Jao flats, Jacana Camp is a truly water-oriented Camp and offers mokoro and walking safaris year round. As the floodwaters recede, game drives and night drives in open 4 x 4 Land Rovers are available from about September to May depending on water levels. The Camp is set in one of the most densely populated wetland areas for sitatunga and red lechwe. Wildlife concentrations depend on the water flow and volume and thus change from season to season but all of the "big" animals can be found in the area including elephant, lion, leopard and buffalo. Pel's Fishing Owl is a favorite amongst birders as well as Greater and Lesser Jacanas. Jacana Camp has 5 meru-style tents. Each tent is on a wooden deck overlooking the floodplains and has an en-suite bathroom with flush toilet and shower. The bathroom is enclosed but roofless allowing for showers by starlight. The Camp has a plunge pool for cooling off from the midday sun. The main dining area is on an elevated wooden deck between two magnificent sycamore fig trees and surrounded by dense wild date palms. Downstairs, there is a cosy pub and lounge with an area for an open fire under the stars.
OR
Kwetsani Camp is a five-roomed luxury tented Camp located in a private reserve to the west of Mombo and the Moremi Game Reserve. The large elongated island is heavily wooded with Palm, Mangosteen and Fig trees and is one of the most remote Camps in the entire Okavango Delta.

The 5 spacious tented tree-house chalets are each built under a thatch roof and all have en-suite facilities including a shower, separate flush toilet, basin and outdoor shower. All of the Okavango big wildlife can be found here, and there are excellent chances of spotting the predators. Activities include mokoro rides, walking on palm-fringed islands and game drives during the day and night. Lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog, buffalo and elephant are all found in this area, as well as good concentrations of zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, and all of the plains animals. Access into this area is only by aircraft (dependant on the Okavango's flood levels, either Jao or Hunda airstrip is used for access to this Camp).

Little Vumbura is a beautiful 6-roomed tented Camp situated to the north of Mombo in a private reserve bordering the Moremi Game Reserve in the northern reaches of the Okavango Delta. Open 4x4 Land Rovers allow guests to get close to animals in the savannah areas. Guests usually have the opportunity to see lion, leopard, elephant, sable and buffalo, along with all the plains animals, providing an excellent all-round wildlife experience in this remote corner of the Okavango. Walks (on request basis only) around the islands as well as night drives give guests the opportunity to enjoy Africa from a different perspective. The 6 tented rooms are large and comfortably appointed and each have an en-suite bathroom with hot and cold running water, a shower and flush toilet, as well as an outside shower under the stars. The Camp also has a plunge pool. Access into this area is only by aircraft and then guests are transferred by means of vehicle and then mokoro or boat to the Camp from the airstrip.

Xigera Camp (pronounced Keejera) is a luxury tented Camp situated in the Moremi Game Reserve in the heart of the Okavango Delta. Xigera has something for everyone, in an area where there are no other Moremi Camps and where permanent water year round allows one to enjoy a variety of activities. Enjoy a true Delta experience while you sit back in a mokoro (dugout canoe) and silently glide through the tranquil Okavango waterways or watch the sunset and birds gliding home to roost from a motorboat on the Xigera Lagoon. When water levels permit, game drives (usually September to May) allow the opportunity to observe wildlife and the unique Delta scenery from the comfort of a Land Rover. The more adventurous can track animals on foot. Nestled in a magnificent riverine forest, Xigera consists of 10 luxuriously furnished tented rooms with en-suite facilities and outdoor shower. Each room is raised off of the ground on a wooden deck, offering superb views of the seasonal floodplain and waterhole. Meals and drinks are enjoyed under the thatch of the raised lounge, pub and dining area overlooking a permanently flowing channel. A traditional boma offers alternative dining under the African stars. Wooden walkways wind through the forest connecting the rooms to the main area.
There is a plunge pool for cooling off and relaxation. The wooden footbridge, a unique feature to Xigera, connects Xigera Island to the next one and is often used by lion and leopard moving between the islands allowing guests great viewing opportunities.
Birding in the area is excellent, with Pel's Fishing Owl, Slaty Egret, Wattled Crane, African Skimmers and a host of eagles, vultures, raptors and kingfishers to be found. The area has the highest density of the rare sitatunga antelope found anywhere in the Okavango Delta.

Also during these dry months sable and roan traverse the floodplain. All of the predators such as lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena and wild dog feast on the prey species in the area including impala, zebra, giraffe, wildebeest, lechwe, tsessebe and other plains animals.
