Overview

Spend six nights exploring the highlights of Botswana with your family. Days are spent exploring the paradise of Botswana on private activities with your guide. Tailor-made nature walks, canoe and motorized boat rides ensure that you will be able to discover at your own pace. A dedicated staff member, your “Safari Hero”, will plan your stay with your input on; activities, meal times, in camp activities, story times and ensure that both you and your children have an incredible stay.


Itinerary

Day 1

Traveling

Depart from New York JFK on your South African Airways flight.

Day 2-3

Okavanga Delta View Accommodation

On arrival in Johannesburg, you will connect for your flight to Maun.

On arrival at Maun Airport, you will be met for your scheduled charter flight to the Okavango Delta. 

Days are spent discovering the Okavango Delta on a private activities with your guide. A dedicated staff member, your “Safari Hero”, will plan your stay, activities, meal times, in camp activities, story times and ensure that both you and your children have an incredible stay at Camp Okavango.

Camp Okavango offers the following activities:

Guided nature walks conducted by experienced professional guides. Mokoro (canoe) & motorized boating trips through a variety of tranquil waterways to explore the Okavango
Exceptional bird watching opportunities. Fishing for bream and tiger fish (seasonal).

Spend the next two nights on a full board basis at Camp Okavango.

Day 4-5

Moremi Game Reserve View Accommodation

Today you will depart the Okavango Delta for your scheduled charter flight to Moremi Game Reserve. 

Days are spent exploring the paradise of Moremi on private activities with your guide. 

A dedicated staff member, your “Safari Hero”, will plan your stay, activities, meals times, in-camp activities, story times and ensure that both you and your children have an incredible stay at Camp Moremi.

Camp Moremi offers the following activities:

Activities are centered around tracking big game on morning and afternoon game drives by open 4x4 safari vehicle in the Moremi Game Reserve.
Exploring the Xakanaxa Lagoon and surrounding Okavango channels by motorboat.

Spend the next two nights on a full board basis at Camp Moremi. 

Day 6-7

Chobe National Park View Accommodation

Today you will depart the Moremi Game Reserve for your scheduled charter flight to Chobe National Park. The area is renowned for its population of bull elephant and for the unique interaction of the resident predator species.

Your time at Savute Safari Lodge is spent on private game drive activities with your guide.

Savute Safari Lodge offers the following activities:

Activities are centered around game drives throughout the Savute area in open 4x4 safari vehicles.
Families can also enjoy a visit to the ancient San rock paintings at Gubatsa Hills, a small hilly outcrop
which forms a remarkable landmark in the otherwise flat landscape. (Visits to these painting at times when predators are known to be denning near these hills will restrict this activity.)
A dedicated staff member, your “Safari Hero”, will plan your stay, activities, meals times, in-camp activities, story times and ensure that both you and your children have an incredible stay at Savute Safari Lodge.

Spend the next two nights on a full board basis at Savute Safari Lodge.  

Day 8

Departure

Enjoy a morning game viewing activity followed by breakfast. You will depart for your transfer to Maun airport. Here you will depart on your flight to Johannesburg and connecting flight to the United States.

Day 9

Traveling

Arrival in the United States at New York JFK airport.


Note

This tour can begin in Washington Dulles instead of New York, however, this would necessitate an overnight stop in Johannesburg at the beginning of the journey before flying to Maun. Please contact us for prices for this option.
