Overview
This scheduled safari visits the highlights of Kenya's wildlife heritage, including, Amboseli National Park, famous for its herds of elephants and Kilimanjaro backdrop, Lake Nakuru and the Masai Mara.
Itinerary
Day 1
Traveling
Depart from New York (JFK) on your South African Airways flight to Johannesburg.
Day 2
NAIROBI
On arrival in Johannesburg, board your connecting flight to Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Overnight on a bed and breakfast basis at DoubleTree by Hilton Nairobi Hurlingham
Day 3-4
AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
After an early breakfast you will be collected from your hotel and depart to Amboseli National Park.
Lunch will be served at the lodge.
In the afternoon you will depart on your first safari game drive in Amboseli with the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the back drop.
Overnight for 2 nights on a full board basis at Amboseli Sopa Lodge
Day 5
LAKE NAIVASHA
After breakfast you will be collected from your hotel and depart to Nairobi.
Lunch is at the renowned Carnivore restaurant in Nairobi. After which we continue to Lake Naivasha in the Rift Valley.
Overnight on a full board basis at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge
Day 6
LAKE NAIVASHA
Breakfast is followed by a boat trip on the lake (subject to water levels).
Morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National park. We then travel to Lake Nakuru Lodge for lunch.

Day 7-8
MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
After breakfast we depart to the Masai Mara. Approximately a 5 hour drive will take us to the heart of Masai country and one of Kenya's natural marvels.
After lunch we will spend the rest of the afternoon on game drive.
Overnight for 2 nights on a full board basis at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge
Day 9
Departure
After breakfast we will depart back to Nairobi. The approximate 5 hour drive will end our safari at the airport where you will board your flight to Johannesburg and connecting flight to the US.

Traveling
Arrival in the USA at New York (JFK) Airport
Note
This tour can begin in Washington Dulles instead of New York; however, this would necessitate an overnight stop in Johannesburg at the beginning of the journey before flying to Nairobi. Please contact us for prices for this option.
